We do our utmost to keep swelling and bruising to a minimum, and Dr Prasad has the lightest touch; However, we recommend you plan for some level of swelling and possibly bruising. Most clients have reported hardly any issues, and they can be easily covered with make-up.
If you experience swelling / bruising these go down within a few weeks.
Both tear trough filler and Botulinum toxin can be performed at the same time. Anti-wrinkle treatment around the eyes requires small amounts of Botulinum toxin injected at 3-4 points. You may notice small bumps, but these reduce after 10-20 minutes. Results start to show from 3-4 days and last up to 6 months. It is a very quick treatment, and we recommend you are well-hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment as this can contribute to better skin elasticity. Afterwards, pay attention to any pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions provided by your practitioner.
Anti wrinkle treatment around the eyes tends to last around 3-4 months. Tear trough filler tends to last longer than filler in other areas, usually 12-18 months.
